Salary: THB 75,000 plus fixed bonus and performance bonus

Job Description:

As an Assistant Material Planning Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely flow of materials throughout the organization's supply chain. You will assist the Senior Planning Manager in coordinating and executing material planning activities to meet production demands while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to ensure smooth material availability for production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing material (Direct import for raw material) planning strategies and processes to meet production schedules and customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to gather and analyze data related to material requirements, inventory levels, and production forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock availability, inventory turnover, and order fill rate to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to establish optimal order quantities, lead times, and safety stock levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Assist in analyzing and optimizing material flow within the supply chain, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Development and maintenance of material planning policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role.
  • Able to use SAP R/3. APO is a plus.
  • Experience in FMCG is preferrable.
