Argyll Scott is exclusively partnering with a multinational manufacturing chemicals business who are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to support with the growth of the market in Thailand and South East Asia. Responsibilities
- Be a full budget owner of all finance activities for the Commercial Operations activities including Sales, Marketing and the Business Management functions
- Business partner with the Commercial Team, combining both support and challenge
- Drive profit maximization through profit and loss evaluation and providing key inputs to negotiating parameters
- Support BU Finance Leaders in updating sales to revenue data and participate in the BU planning process
- Provide analytics supporting cost vs. market data; identify opportunities to reduce cost or improve margin
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to include both financial risk and business performance risk
- Develop and present financial plans and results to division leadership team
- Set the example of continuous process improvement
- Execute other occasion ad-hoc tasks and special projects
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 6+ years of working experience in a similar role, Big4 Audit background with CPA would be an advantage but not a strict requirement
- Strong business partnering and commercial Finance experience in a large multinational company
- FMCG or Manufacturing industry experience is desirable, but must have product P&L understanding
- Ability to translate and simplify financial messages to non-Finance stakeholders
- Experience of working with Sales & Marketing teams
- Ability to use management information to provide insight behind business performance, to guide future plans, lead for Planning and Forecasting excellence
- Highly numerate and analytical, with good attention to detail
- Ability to apply intellect and judgement to influence cross-functional colleagues to act on financial recommendations in commercial decisions
- Excellent command of English and a Thai native speaker
