Sponsorship opportunities are available for overseas lawyers and they are also very keen to speak to Australian or New Zealand qualified lawyers, who are considering relocating to Australia from overseas.

The Corporate Practice
Allens' Corporate practice is Band 1 (Chambers Asia Pacific 2021) and Tier 1 (Legal500 Asia Pacific 2021) ranked, having won Law Firm of the Year 2020 at the Australasian Law Awards, as well as Australian Deal of the Year 2020, M&A deal of the Year 2020, and Equity Market Deal of the Year 2020.
We are looking for experienced Corporate lawyers with 2+ years of post-qualification experience, including those at Senior Associate level who are interested in relocating to Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to join Allens' Tier 1 Corporate team which spans a broad range of matters, including private and public M&A, ECM, private equity and corporate governance.
Allens pride themselves on offering a broad scope of work and team members work across all Partners nationally, rather than being siloed with just one or two Partners in one location. This offers their people exposure to all areas and the opportunity to develop their skills broadly, before starting to specialise as they progress to a more senior level.

Flexibility is very important to Allens and they support a hybrid model where working from home part of the week is the norm. The group and team members work from home on a regular basis as well as coming into the office to collaborate. Even pre-pandemic, the team were working flexibly and this is something they are keen to continue doing.
What you'll bring:
· Experience obtained with a leading Corporate practice within an international firm or top tier environment
· A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
· An excellent academic record
· A willingness to participate in business development activities, such as pitch documents, firm-wide pursuits, article writing, attending industry events and hosting seminars.
· A willingness to build an understanding of clients and develop effective working relationships.
· A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
