Job Description

Our client is a Global Lifestyle Apparel & Footwear brand, this role is creating, owning and championing the Brand's Footwear lines for the APAC region including overall strategic direction and product line management. Reports to the VP of Products, you will be managing the business plan development, concept/product briefing, cross-functional team leadership, sales and margin accountability.

Job Responsibilities:

This senior level position is responsible for managing and developing a complete product line for the successful sales and marketing of products. Coordinates flow of information and prioritize, segment, and process as necessary to convey information to consumers. Works with assigned category team to determine new product and consumer needs, price points, and strategic developments. Performs competitor analysis.

You are responsible for identifying key market trends, building seasonal line plans, understanding and reflecting wholesale partner/market objectives, and ensuring that the global line will reflect the region's requirement.

Lead and manage the Brand's Footwear APAC Product Team, including Product Merchandising managers and coordinators, and Merchandising Operations manager and coordinator. Create APAC product category strategies on a seasonal basis that support the global product vision and strategies laid out by the global team.

Lead product briefs on a seasonal basis, consolidating information and clearly communicating regional priorities to Global Product teams. Build seasonal Style/SKU count to financial plans. Work alongside product partners in each market to identify, on an ongoing basis, the opportunities to leverage sales growth through a comprehensive offering of all product categories. Ensure Go To Market (GTM) integration between Product and Market/Sales teams as well as coordinate product strategy planning with APAC Marketing team.

Job Requirement

Minimum 10 years Merchandising experience in Footwear for Asia Pacific markets, Japan and Korea markets are preferred; Experience in leading a sizable team around 6 - 10; English is a must; Global Brands working experience is highly preferred
