Marketing and Business Development Assistant
Overview of the Function
The MBD department in MENA has three core dimensions to its responsibilities:
Delivery of the highest quality support to the partnership/fee earners in winning, retaining
and growing business in the MENA region.
- MENA region implementation and execution of global MBD projects, campaigns, MBD
systems and best practice processes.
- Promotion and communication of the MENA region offices and activity internally with the
firm's global office network.
- The department currently has a small team with a mixture of practice group and geographic
responsibilities.
Role summary/purpose of job
Working closely with the Senior MBD Manager, Proposals Manager, Partners and relevant practice
group leaders, this role has broad-based responsibilities across a mix of marketing and BD activities but
requires a clear focus on writing proposals and credential documents, industry submissions and
awards, event support, management of marketing materials, dealing with requests from international
offices and day to day support of the fee earners as well as supporting on global projects/systems to
be implemented locally. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in client relationship
management (CRM) planning and support.
Candidates with the relevant level of previous experience will be considered at Executive level.
