Job Description

Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manages and supports program effort in alignment with program scope and escalates issues
  • Manages program documentation, including project plans and status reporting
  • Leads / participates in solution design with cross-functional teams and implements business process innovation to effect change across the business to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of operations
  • Analyze and understand business / operational situations and make improvement recommendations, such as process improvement, performance metrics, retention, and service improvements
  • Leads / facilitates sessions independently around operational assessment, process improvement, process analysis and redesign, and business transformation initiatives
  • Gather business end-user requirements, document identified requirements (e.g. process maps, high level use cases, reporting metrics, etc.)
  • Ability to design and setup process performance metrics across various Insurance functions, operating models, and distribution platforms
  • Ability to analyze ongoing performance data to assess trends, compare actuals against targets, and identify issues / areas of opportunity
  • Recommend process and operational performance metrics including minimum and expected service level standards
  • Manage implementation of customer experience measurement program and reporting across the region.

Desired Qualifications

  • BS degree or equivalent work experience required. MBA a plus
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years related work experience
  • Sound understanding of general insurance business model
  • Knowledgeable of application of statistical methods including statistical sampling and statistical inference.
  • Experience with Process Design, Re-Engineering, and Transformation Initiatives
  • Experience delivering and/or improving consumer lines processes, performance metrics, operational delivery
  • Comfortable with analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Ability to design and model "as-is" and adapted processes leveraging proven process decomposition techniques - (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
  • Basic Project Management experience preferred (PMP a plus)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Collaboration across business and IT disciplines to achieve process performance results.
  • Experience participating in fast pasted, aggressive, and dynamic projects
  • Cross-functional, cross-organizational relationship-building skills. Strong interpersonal skills
