Regional Procurement Manager - Ingredient

Budget: 350KB Max

The Global Procurement Ingredient Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of high-quality ingredients for use in the manufacturing of products across the company's global operations. The successful candidate will work with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliable delivery, and competitive pricing for all ingredients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for ingredients that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Ensure that all ingredients meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify ingredient needs, specifications, and sources.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of key ingredients and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and establish performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery and quality.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding ingredient procurement processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing the procurement budget and track spending against established targets.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in global ingredient procurement, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with SAP systems and procurement software.
