Our client is one of the global leading fashion brand. We are looking for someone who has good sense of fashion and has direct experience in Merchandising to lead country and regional team to join as "Retail Merchandising Director"

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions
  • Ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels to facilitate business performance
  • Build relationships with reliable suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing
  • Research, choose and purchase quality products and services
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained to achieve the operational and financial goal
  • Build and develop a diverse and inclusive team with structured succession planning
  • Lead by example and act as a true brand ambassador and role model
  • Coordinate all retail related cross functional teams ensuring alignment and collaborative approach
  • Develop guidelines and processes to enhance customer experience and store operational efficiency
  • Supervise execution of retail processes and standards ensuring consistency across stores/markets

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree, ideally MBA degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of Merchandiser / Buyer background
  • Experience in E-commerce / International omnichannel experience required
  • Understand end-to-end process
  • Great analytical skill (good at number)
  • Aggressive character with ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Skills in Merchandising, buying import fashion
  • Transformation experience
  • Spontaneous mindset
  • Prefer age not over than 40

  • Good communication in Thai and fluent in English
  • Experience in managing team of 20 staff +
  • Capable to build engagement and strong business relationships
  • High Leadership with positive attitude
