This person will be responsible for the strategy execution at the corporate level and working directly with the CEO and Senior Management, assessing the strategic landscape and to perform strategic and financial analysis to determine strategic options and to make actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Research for growth opportunities within the market and proactively provide business insights and recommendations
  • Assist in the development of strategy/business plan processes and drive the execution with senior management
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of various projects, including financial analysis and product performance
  • Provide proactive executive support to the CEO in day to day activities and facilitate effective management and leadership of the business
  • Oversee Board presentations, Regulatory presentations, CEOs meeting presentations, and any other CEO reports
  • Prepare papers and packs, such as the annual strategy paper, for a range of meetings, operating to the highest standards
  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with Senior Management, to ensure seamless flow of information
  • Drive and coordinate the agenda for Senior Management
  • Define the scope of the business plan in collaboration with senior management
  • Create a detailed work plan to identify and sequence activities to successfully complete the business plan and determine objectives and measures upon which the business plan will be evaluated at completion
  • Manage employees, consultants, vendors according to established policies and practices

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in business/management
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in business and corporate strategy / consulting
  • Understanding of Group Insurance and the different functions of an insurance company
  • Solid business analytics skills and inter-personal relationship
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning, organisational and time-management skills
