Reporting to the Logistics Director, you will be leading 2 supervisors and be responsible for the below:

Operations Management:

Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching of goods.
Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize warehouse productivity, accuracy, and control.
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and coordinating stock movements.
Collaborate with various departments, including sales, purchasing, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of goods.

Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise and train warehouse staff, foster a positive work environment, and establish clear work expectations and goals.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, encouraging a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, conduct regular performance appraisals, and identify and address performance issues promptly.
Administer payroll, allocate resources appropriately, and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Create and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, best practices, and company policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures.
Train and educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper use of protective equipment.

Inventory Management:

Implement inventory control methods, ensuring accurate and timely monitoring of stock levels, replenishment, and rotation.
Coordinate physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Collaborate with procurement team to ensure efficient stock replenishment while minimizing excess inventory.

Continuous Improvement:

Regularly review and analyze warehouse operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
Implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance overall warehouse performance.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in warehouse management systems and technologies.
