An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well known company in central London as a Desktop Engineer for a 3 month contract.
My client is ranked within the top 5 European and top 50 global managed services suppliers and are currently operating in 13 countries across the globe.
The successful candidate must have recent experience in providing quality desktop support on 2nd line incidents and have escalated problems further up the chain.
The must haves:
- Previous experience of providing customer desktop support in a commercial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting the following
- Microsoft Exchange; Active Directory; Office 365; Windows Servers (full range); Server Virtualisation (HyperV / VMWare); Local Area Networking; Symantec Products; Cisco LAN/WAN (routers, switches, ASAs); Routing / switching equipment including, but not limited to, Cisco, Dell, HP switches, routers and firewalls; Citrix ( XenApp/XenDesktop)
