Our client is a reputable General Insurance company, and they are looking for a team leader for their Finance team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting role for someone with previous experience in overall finance functions within General Insurance as well as in leading a team. The company is a good strong healthy business and can offer good remuneration and good work-life balance.
Being the most senior member in the finance team, you will be responsible for leading the team in monthly closing and producing timely financial reports to the Regional office, as well as supporting Finance functions and financial planning & analysis (including budgeting, forecasting, etc). You will also be in charge of implementing policies and processes to drive changes and perform ad-hoc tasks.
To be considered, you must have at least 7-10 years' experience within General Insurance. You must also have strong knowledge in local regulatory requirements, as well as good knowledge in IFRS. Excellent skills in Excel and experience in usage of accounting systems would be a plus.
