Job Description

Our client is a listed global manufacturing multinational company which has constantly achieved strong business performance alongside their growing presence around the world. With a global manufacturing network spanning across several countries worldwide, there is now an opening opportunity for a proactive and mature professional role as a "Plant HR Manager" who is able to lead HR operation, plan HR Strategic, and in-charge of overall HR activities in the plant in order to smoothly drive HR functions in the organization.

Job Description

Report directly to the HR Director, the responsibilities for this role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Full spectrum of overall HR functions and partner with senior management to drive and support corporate goals and strategies, particularly in managing and directing the organizational change process and develop HR solutions
  • Map out HR long term plan with strategies and specific action/plans/targets as well as develop and implement the HR strategy through the organization
  • Initiate, and implement HR policies as well as procedures to be aligned with the company's culture, strategy, and objectives
  • Handle the selection process and coordination with labor representatives
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations by setting the strategic direction to attract both technical and management levels of employees
  • Implementation of measures for organizational development and develop of local training measures with training providers
  • Provide consultative on matters regarding leadership, organization and labor law
  • Responsible for remuneration development, HR costs controlling, and competence management process planning
  • Provide on the job training, guidance, and coaching for improved performance
  • Supervise subordinates to run HR tasks efficiently for enhanced HR activities
  • Assure that HR functions and all HR activities run effectively and smoothly

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role will have had experience of:

  • Degree qualified in HR Management or HR related is preferred but not a requirement, Masters would be an advantage
  • At least 10 years working experience in HR Generalist preferably in Manufacturing with highly unionized / MNCs
  • Experience across most of the key pillars - Recruitment, Training & Development, C&B, Talent Management & Development, HR Law and Regulation
  • Ability to fit into the large manufacturing plant and strong HR Labour law practice
  • Excellent in Communication skills both Thai & English language
  • Lean, TPM, IL6S knowledge with excellent analytical, interpersonal & project management skills
  • Able to work in Khon Kaen province
