Commercial & BD Manager (Area Management) / Travel Retail / $70k P/M
We are partnering with a globally recognised luxury retail brand
to find an ambitious Commercial & Business Development Manager
to lead and support the strategic rollout of their Travel Retail presence across Asia.

About the Role:
The role is focused on growing the brand’s presence in travel retail
—including airports, duty-free, and regional travel hubs. You’ll be responsible for developing partnerships, supporting logistics and operations, enabling VIP sales opportunities, and representing the brand to key stakeholders across Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with travel retail partners across Asia (airport retailers, duty-free, distributors)
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with brand goals
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support regional logistics, merchandising, and brand representation
- Enable and manage VIP sales channels, including activations and exclusive product access
- Support area management functions and performance tracking of retail accounts
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure consistent brand experience across all channels
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and potential partnership opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 6+ years of experience in commercial brand management, area or retail operations management, ideally in luxury or premium retail
- Proven track record in business development, travel retail, or regional brand expansion
- Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach to relationship building and negotiations
- Solid understanding of retail logistics, merchandising, and customer engagement strategies
- Experience with VIP clients, events, or sales activations a strong advantage
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must. Cantonese is a plus
- Regional exposure in Asia is essential, ideally with on-the-ground presence in key markets
