Investment Operations (1-year Contract)

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Investment Operations to review, strengthen, and optimize our end-to-end investment operations processes. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening risk and control frameworks, and ensuring effective collaboration between internal teams, portfolio managers, dealers, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and refine investment operations processes to align with the firm’s target operating model.
• Strengthen integration with third-party vendors, custodians, and counterparties to ensure seamless operational flows.
• Establish and enhance risk controls, governance structures, and documentation to institutionalize operational knowledge.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, dealers, and operations teams to address process gaps and drive operational improvements.
• Lead and coordinate initiatives to improve workflows, mitigate risks, and enhance efficiency across asset classes.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement solutions that support future operational needs.
• Support project management activities, including risk/issue tracking, reporting, and change management.

The Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Asset Management industry in a similar investment operations role.
• Extensive experience across major asset classes, particularly derivatives, fixed income, and equity markets.
• Strong knowledge of Middle Office and Back Office outsourcing arrangements.
• Proficiency with investment analytics and operational workflows; experience with BlackRock Aladdin is an advantage.
