Legal and Compliance Associate - 18m Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Associate to join the Legal team on an 18-month contractual basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the tier-1 insurance-focused firms based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Support legal and compliance projects involving litigation, regulatory liaison, and change management
• Conduct due diligence on contracts and documentation related to corporate and regulatory matters
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal correspondence and reports.
• Apply deep knowledge of insurance and commercial law to analyse and categorise legal materials
• Devise and execute complex search strategies to identify relevant legal content and precedents

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Law from Hong Kong-based universities
• Have 2–4 years of proven experience in legal experience, preferably qualified lawyers
• Experience in legal publishing and/or law in a project setting
• Strong technical and analytical skills with keen attention to linguistic and legal details
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Both English and Cantonese proficiency are essential
