Job Description – Finance Controller (Manufacturing Focus)
Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage cost, inventory, and cash flow for manufacturing operations.

Conduct detailed financial analysis related to COGS, production variances, and inventory management.

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with standards.

Review and validate product costing, transfer pricing, and material cost variances.

Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including CAPEX planning and controllable cost management.

Supervise and support finance team members in daily factory operations.

Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, working capital, and inventory control through best practices.

Support business projects and initiatives with financial modelling, analysis, and performance tracking.

Ensure strong internal controls and compliance across manufacturing finance activities.
Target Profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-
Strong background in manufacturing finance, costing, and plant/factory controlling.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a factory/plant finance role (e.g., Plant Controller, Factory Controller).

Proven ability to manage COGS, inventory, and CAPEX within a manufacturing environment.

Skilled in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel/spreadsheet usage.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in FMCG or large-scale manufacturing is a plus.
