About the company
Our client is a global company in the education sector, dedicated to nurturing their students and delivering high-quality learning experiences. With a strong presence across the region, they are known for their commitment to excellence in both academic and operational standards. The organization fosters a collaborative culture where educators and support teams work hand in hand to create a positive impact on students, families, and the wider community.
About the role
As the Payroll & Reporting team lead, you will take the lead in managing the organization’s end-to-end payroll operations, statutory reporting, and audit compliance across multiple entities. You will oversee relationships with external payroll vendors, ensure accurate ECDA reporting, and drive continuous process improvement. Leading a capable payroll and reporting team, you will be instrumental in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while contributing valuable data insights to support workforce planning and business decision-making.
What we’ll like to see in you
You bring proven expertise in payroll management, with at least 5–8 years of relevant experience, including leadership responsibilities of at least 2 years. Your strong knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory compliance in Singapore—alongside familiarity with ECDA platforms such as CMS and OPAL—enables you to navigate complex reporting requirements with ease. Experience in the early childhood education sector will be highly advantageous. You are adept at managing external vendors, leading audits, and leveraging HRIS systems to enhance operational efficiency. A sharp eye for detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team are key to your success in this role.
Why you’ll love this role
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the education industry by ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient delivery of payroll and reporting processes that directly support educators and staff. You will have the autonomy to improve systems, streamline processes, and introduce innovations that enhance operational excellence. Surrounded by passionate professionals who care deeply about their work, you’ll enjoy a supportive environment that values both your expertise and your ideas, giving you the platform to grow as a leader while contributing to a mission that transforms lives through education.
