Company / Role Overview
This position offers an opportunity to lead and support a diverse hybrid IT landscape across the APAC region. The Regional IT and Cloud Specialist will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments. The role requires close collaboration with regional and central IT teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure system reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability while driving ongoing modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain regional cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure continuous availability and optimal performance.
  • Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and costs, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to uphold SLAs, resolve escalations, and manage infrastructure lifecycle activities.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure enhancements, migrations, and upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Lead regional cloud-related projects and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and provide technical mentorship on infrastructure best practices.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing hybrid environments combining cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Proficiency in major cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Alibaba Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with “move-to-cloud” projects and Azure components (e.g., AVD, AFS, NSG, Load Balancers, landing zones).
  • Strong background in Windows and Linux server administration, with practical knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Git.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP and DNS.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement effective security controls.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) are advantageous.
