Senior ML Engineer- Contract- 55k P/M

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Python applications for machine learning pipelines and data processing.

• Design and implement APIs using modern Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.

• Work with structured data using SQL and/or PySpark to support feature engineering and analytics.

• Deploy and maintain machine learning models in production using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and MLOps tools.

• Monitor and manage model performance using tools like MLflow, ClearML, and Evidently.ai.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of ML systems.

• Implement robust testing frameworks including unit, integration, and performance/stress testing.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.

• 2+ years working with structured data via SQL or PySpark.

• 1+ years of experience developing APIs using Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Gunicorn).

• Familiarity with model deployment, containerization (Docker), and MLOps/DevOps practices.

• Experience with data and model monitoring frameworks such as MLflow, ClearML, or Evidently.ai.

• Solid understanding of the machine learning development lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of system performance and scalability optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in software testing methodologies.

• Experience in operational research and mathematical optimization (e.g., linear programming, genetic algorithms), especially in domains like retail, logistics, supply chain, or energy.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of LLMOps (developing, deploying, evaluating, versioning, monitoring large language models).

• Experience optimizing SQL and PySpark performance.

• Familiarity with job queues such as Celery or Redis Queue.
