Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Private Banking Platform Management team
  • Support delivery of business initiatives, reviews, and remediation work, producing management information (MI) for tracking and oversight.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, including operational/admin tasks such as documentation scoping, repapering/digitisation, query tracking, and governance forum submissions.
  • Assist with COO-led initiatives, including simplification, process improvement, and AI-related activities.
  • Support platform BAU activities, including Business Continuity Management, Third Party/Outsourcing Management, and maintaining business-owned sites.
  • Partner with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, SMEs, and risk stewards to resolve issues across the Private Bank platform.
  • Participate in working groups and forums, representing the Platform Management team’s perspective.
  • Work closely with Business Risk and risk stewards to implement appropriate controls for existing processes and new/changed workflows.
  • Embed compliance and control standards into business processes, ensure adherence to internal policies/regulatory requirements, and help identify and mitigate emerging risks/control gaps.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in Private Banking, with strong knowledge of industry practices, policies, processes, platforms, products and services.
  • Self-starter who can drive issue resolution with minimal guidance and perform well under pressure.
  • Positive, flexible mindset; comfortable taking on a broad range of tasks even when roles/responsibilities aren’t clearly defined.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret datasets and trends to support decision-making, with a structured and creative problem-solving approach and high attention to detail.
  • Strong teamworking and interpersonal skills; well-organised and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); third-party/outsourcing experience is a plus.
