Argyll Scott is now seeking an experienced and dynamic Category Manager to join our client team in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. This role will drive category growth and commercial excellence across Thailand, lead category strategy, pricing, portfolio optimization, and trade investment, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth strategies aligned with business objectives and commercial priorities

• Translate consumer, shopper, and market insights into actionable commercial plans to drive sales, profitability, and market share

• Lead portfolio strategy, including pricing, pack-price architecture, product mix, and route-to-market optimization

• Develop business cases for new product launches, pricing, and promotional initiatives to maximize commercial performance

• Define trade investment and promotional strategies, ensuring effective allocation and strong return on investment

• Evaluate commercial performance and identify opportunities to improve pricing, promotions, and channel effectiveness

• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to execute growth initiatives and achieve business targets

• Drive commercial planning and continuous improvement through data-driven insights and performance analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Commercial Excellence, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, or related commercial functions within FMCG

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, portfolio management, trade investment, and category strategy

• Strong analytical and financial skills with experience evaluating business performance and ROI

• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Excellent in Thai and English both verbal and written.
