Chief Technology Officer

We are supporting a leading financial services organisation in the search for a CTO to lead its regional technology strategy and engineering transformation. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong technical depth, commercial judgement and the ability to engage credibly with C-level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set the regional technology strategy and translate business priorities into a practical delivery roadmap.

• Lead engineering, architecture and technology delivery across multiple markets.

• Modernise legacy platforms while maintaining the stability and security of critical systems.

• Advance cloud adoption, DevOps, automation and continuous delivery to improve speed and reliability.

• Shape the use of AI engineering across the business, with appropriate governance and production controls.

• Build strong technology leadership teams and manage key vendors, budgets and delivery risks.

• Partner with business executives to assess investments, make technical decisions and deliver measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• 15+ years of technology experience, including senior leadership across regional financial services environments.

• Strong hands-on technical foundations, with the ability to challenge architecture and engineering decisions.

• Proven experience in large-scale platform modernisation, cloud transformation and complex programme delivery.

• Good understanding of AI engineering, DevOps, software delivery and cybersecurity.

• Confident communication with C-level leaders, boards and senior business stakeholders.
