Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and execution-driven Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage capital engineering projects within a manufacturing plant environment (excluding construction/building projects).

This role is fully responsible for end-to-end project execution — from concept development to commissioning and operational handover — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate must come from FMCG manufacturing and possess strong technical expertise with the ability to personally drive and execute projects on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

1. Capital Project Management (End-to-End)

• Lead major capital projects from concept design through commissioning and operational acceptance.
• Define project scope, technical specifications, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Execute projects hands-on, coordinating internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget, schedule, scope, and quality targets.

2. Engineering Annual Operating Plan & CAPEX Management

• Develop and execute the plant’s Engineering Annual Operating Plan.
• Build and manage the CAPEX portfolio aligned with business growth and productivity goals.
• Develop the plant’s engineering strategic roadmap (capacity expansion, automation, efficiency, reliability).
• Monitor and control capital spending to ensure financial discipline.

3. Plant Improvement & Optimization

• Identify and implement productivity, cost reduction, and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead equipment upgrades, line modifications, automation projects, and technology implementation.
• Support new product launches from an engineering and technical readiness perspective.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Safety teams.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards.

5. Risk & Performance Management

• Proactively manage project risks and mitigation plans.
• Track project KPIs and provide regular progress updates to plant leadership.
• Ensure proper documentation, SOP updates, and knowledge transfer to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• 10+ years of engineering experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing capital projects within a manufacturing plant.
• Strong hands-on execution capability — able to personally drive and manage technical implementation.
• Good command both Thai and English
