Enterprise Architect (Director) / Insurance

A leading insurer is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support regional technology strategy and transformation across the business. This role will work closely with senior technology and business stakeholders to shape enterprise architecture, define target-state capabilities and guide the delivery of scalable cloud and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise architecture principles, roadmaps and target-state designs across regional markets.
• Partner with business, technology and delivery teams to translate strategic priorities into practical architecture solutions.
• Provide architecture oversight across cloud, data, AI, integration, applications and infrastructure.
• Support the implementation of production-grade AI and emerging technology solutions.
• Evaluate technology platforms and vendors, ensuring alignment with security, regulatory and governance requirements.
• Represent the organisation at industry events, innovation forums, hackathons and technology communities where appropriate.

Requirements

• Strong experience in enterprise, solution or technology architecture within financial services.
• Insurance experience is highly preferred.
• Regional experience across Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of enterprise cloud environments, ideally across AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting AI solutions beyond proof-of-concept stage and into production.
• Consulting experience or a strong background engaging with external clients, industry events, innovation programmes or hackathons would be beneficial.
• Able to communicate complex technical topics clearly to senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of architecture governance, technology strategy and large-scale transformation.
