Overview

We are working with a growing technology-driven organisation seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable, user-focused applications and working across the full development lifecycle, from frontend interfaces to backend services.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and JavaScript
• Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
• Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience as a Full-Stack Developer
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with React(including modern hooks and component-based architecture)
• Experience developing backend services using Node.js
• Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser behaviour)
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of software development best practices (testing, CI/CD, code reviews)

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
