The opportunity
We are partnered with a global life insurer to build out its regional AI Centre of Excellence, supporting AI-led transformation across its Asian businesses. Bringing together engineering, data science, product and business expertise, the Centre connects advances in machine learning, generative AI and agentic systems with practical opportunities across distribution, customer engagement and operations.
As an ML / AI Engineer, you will build the production foundations that turn promising AI solutions into dependable business capabilities. Your work will extend beyond individual deployments: you will help establish reusable engineering patterns that teams can adopt across markets and use cases.
What you will do
- Engineer deployment and release pipelines that move ML and generative AI solutions from experimentation into production.
- Develop serving, versioning and lifecycle controls for models, vector stores and graphs.
- Establish observability, performance monitoring, rollback and recovery mechanisms.
- Optimise AI services for reliability, scalability, maintainability and cost.
- Partner with data scientists, AI engineers and market technology teams to industrialise validated solutions.
- Contribute reusable MLOps and LLMOps standards across the regional AI ecosystem.
What you will bring
- Strong Python and software engineering skills.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating production ML or generative AI solutions.
- Practical knowledge of cloud engineering, model serving and operational monitoring.
- Understanding of relevant data and AI regulatory considerations across Asian markets.

Why this role
This is an opportunity to shape how AI operates at enterprise scale, combining hands-on engineering with regional influence over the standards and capabilities that support future deployments.
