We are partnering with a leading Financial Services & Insurance organisation seeking a Lead AI Architect to drive enterprise-wide AI architecture across multiple business and technology departments.

This is a senior role focused on designing scalable, production-ready AI solutions, defining architecture standards, and helping the organisation move AI initiatives from concept through to live enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of enterprise AI architecture across multiple departments
• Define target-state AI platforms, patterns, standards, and roadmaps
• Translate business requirements into practical AI solution designs
• Provide technical leadership across AI, GenAI, LLM, ML, automation, and intelligent workflow use cases
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data, security, governance, and cloud standards
• Support the delivery of AI solutions from prototype through to production
• Partner with senior stakeholders across business, technology, data, security, and governance teams

Requirements

• Prior experience as an AI Architect, Lead AI Architect, Enterprise AI Architect, or similar
• Proven experience delivering AI or ML solutions into production
• Strong general AI knowledge, including GenAI, LLMs, ML platforms, model deployment, and AI-enabled applications
• Enterprise architecture experience across cloud, data, integration, security, and governance
• Ability to operate across multiple departments, systems, and stakeholder groups
• Strong communication skills with both technical and senior business audiences
• Financial Services or Insurance experience is beneficial, but not essential
