A global food service / FMCG food organisation is hiring an experienced Regional Product Development & Quality (Senior) Manager, to join its regional hub in Singapore.

This is a technical, hands-on role focused on new product development, product/menu commercialisation, supplier capability, food safety, and quality assurance. Enabling growth across APAC, this position will work closely with suppliers, distributor/franchisee partners, supply chain, operations, and global technical teams to develop and commercialize products that meet brand, quality, safety, and operational requirements.

A strong fit candidate comes with strong experience in poultry, protein, food processing, breading systems, or chilled/frozen food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product development and commercialization projects with regional and international food suppliers
  • Work with suppliers to develop customized products, from raw material selection through processing, coating / breading, testing, validation, and launch
  • Manage supplier quality, food safety, audit readiness, product evaluation, specifications, lab testing, and corrective action plans
  • Support approval of new suppliers, secondary suppliers, and production facilities across regional markets
  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to ensure products are commercially viable, scalable, and aligned with market requirements

Key Requirements

  • 7–10 years’ experience in food manufacturing, product development, R&D, QA, technical, or operations roles
  • Strong exposure to poultry, protein processing, breaded products, frozen / chilled food, or QSR supply chain environments
  • Solid understanding of food science, HACCP, food safety, processing technology, microbiology, and manufacturing controls
  • Experience working directly with suppliers, plants, processors, or co-manufacturers across product development and commercialization
  • Able to travel regionally for more than 50%

Preferred Background:

Candidates from poultry manufacturers, protein processors, food ingredient / coating / breading suppliers, or technical product development teams within food manufacturing environments will be highly relevant.
