Product UI/UX Designer (Senior) / $50-60k P/M / Logistic

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of our vessel-management ecosystem, connecting office teams, seafarers, and vessel owners through a mission-critical digital platform.

You will own the full product design lifecycle across web and mobile — from discovery and research to delivery and optimisation. This includes driving research-led decisions, defining information architecture and user flows, and delivering high-quality UI aligned with business goals and technical constraints.

You will evolve and maintain our Design System to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform, while partnering closely with product, engineering, and operations teams across Hong Kong and India to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.

The role also involves leading qualitative and quantitative research, translating insights into actionable design strategies, and leveraging behavioural analytics (e.g., GA4) to inform product improvements. You will design AI-enabled and AI-first experiences, advanced data visualisations, and operational dashboards that support cost, risk, and performance management across 600+ vessels and 25,000+ seafarers.

Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, improve design workflows and KPIs, and promote strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure high design quality and measurable product impact.

Requirements

Essential:

• 4–7+ years of experience in UX/Product Design for complex, multi-platform systems

• Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, research-driven decisions, and measurable business impact

• Expertise in end-to-end design (research, IA, flows, prototyping, usability testing, analytics)

• Proven ability to present and defend design decisions to senior stakeholders with clear storytelling

• Experience contributing to product strategy and KPI-aligned UX outcomes

• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, marketing, and leadership teams

• Proficiency in Figma and component-based design systems

• Experience using (or strong interest in adopting) AI/LLM-supported workflows

Desirable:

• Experience designing AI-enabled workflows or advanced data visualisation dashboards

• Mobile-first design experience

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for effective collaboration with developers

• Experience in maritime, logistics, or other safety-critical industries

• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, or equivalent practical experience
