Project Engineer (Food & Beverage Manufacturing)
Location: Chonburi/Rayong
We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer to drive capital projects and product-related initiatives within a dynamic food & beverage manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in delivering brownfield project, site CAPEX projects, and supporting new product development (NPD) from concept through to full-scale production.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting operational and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution (Brownfield & CAPEX)
- Lead and execute brownfield projects, including plant upgrades, line modifications, and capacity improvements
- Manage site CAPEX projects from planning, budgeting, and design through to installation and commissioning
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
New Product Development (NPD) Support
- Support NPD initiatives by ensuring manufacturing readiness for new products
- Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to scale up new products from trial to commercial production
- Ensure equipment capability and process alignment for new product launches
Planning & Cost Control
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
- Monitor project progress, costs, and risks, ensuring alignment with approved CAPEX and timelines
- Provide regular updates and reporting to stakeholders
Technical & Operational Support
- Ensure all engineering solutions comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP)
- Support troubleshooting and optimization during project implementation
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project success
- Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external contractors/suppliers
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- 5–8 years of experience in project engineering within food & beverage or FMCG manufacturing
- Proven experience in brownfield projects and site CAPEX project execution
- Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment in food & beverage industry
- Good problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Good command of Thai and English
