Regional Managing Director – South East Asia

We are partnering with a high-growth, multi-country franchise restaurant group with annual revenues exceeding USD $200 million and a network of 300+ outlets across South East Asia.
As part of its next phase of expansion, the group is seeking an experienced Regional Managing Director to lead operations, accelerate growth, and drive commercial performance across multiple markets.
The Role
Reporting to the Board, the Regional MD will hold full P&L accountability for the region. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on scaling performance, strengthening partnerships, and delivering operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:

Driving regional growth strategy across multiple countries and formats

Full ownership of P&L performance, including revenue, EBITDA, and cost optimisation

Leading and developing country leadership teams to deliver consistent operational standards

Enhancing performance and engagement, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives

Identifying and executing new developments and expansion opportunities

Embedding best-in-class QSR/retail operational disciplines, including customer experience, supply chain, and store-level profitability

Partnering with the Board on strategic planning, investment decisions, and long-term value creation
We are looking for a commercially driven and operationally strong leader with a proven track record in scaling multi-site, consumer-facing businesses.
Ideal background:

Senior leadership experience (Regional Director / MD / CEO level) within QSR, restaurant, or retail franchise environments

Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-country operations

Experience overseeing 200+ sites and significant P&L responsibility

Strong understanding of franchise models, including partner management and network performance optimisation

Demonstrated ability to drive growth, turnaround performance, and scale businesses

Experience operating within South East Asia or comparable emerging markets is highly advantageous

A hands-on leader with the ability to balance strategy and execution
