SAP Project Manager (SAP SD, S4 HANA)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with strong SAP SD expertise to lead and deliver regional SAP transformation and rollout projects within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and regional leadership to implement and optimize SAP Sales & Distribution processes across multiple countries.

This role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing order-to-cash processes, SAP ERP/S4HANA implementations, project governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional integration with modules such as MM, PP, WM/EWM, FICO, and TM.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead regional SAP projects, rollouts, enhancements, and system upgrades across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle from business requirements gathering through design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource allocations, risk registers, and status reporting.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Establish project governance frameworks and conduct steering committee meetings.

SAP SD Functional Leadership

• Act as the primary SAP SD subject matter expert for Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Drive process standardization and best practices across regional operations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other modules such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) etc.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Partner with regional business leaders to understand operational requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Manage relationships with external consulting partners, system integrators, and software vendors.
• Facilitate workshops and align business requirements with SAP capabilities.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and issues to senior management.

Change Management & Support

• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
• Support go-live planning and hypercare activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization post-implementation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• PMP, Prince2, SAP Activate, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of SAP project management experience leading regional or global implementations.
• Proven experience in manufacturing industry environments.
• Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience managing multi-country rollouts across APAC, EMEA, or global regions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes in manufacturing organizations.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in SAP SD configuration and business processes.
• Knowledge of integration points with MM, PP, WM/EWM, FI/CO, and TM.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and transformation projects.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery approaches.
• Understanding of EDI, CRM, customer portals, and third-party system integrations.
