Our client, a leading provider and operator of digital infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their regional finance team. This role will oversee full-set accounting across subsidiary entities, drive financial governance, ensure multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, and support key ERP and control initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation & Reporting: Produce complete end-to-end management accounts, detailed general ledger schedules, and analytical commentary for operating business units.
- Framework Alignment & Conversions: Handle complex accounting reconciliations between dual-reporting standards (specifically IFRS and US GAAP).
- Governance, Controls & Audits: Enforce financial reporting controls and serve as the main operational focal point for external audit cycles, secretarial functions, and third-party advisors.
- Tax Compliance & Advisory Coordination: Manage local tax obligations by preparing corporate tax returns and working directly with external tax agents to fulfill regulatory filings.
- Cross-Functional Business Partnering: Collaborate with regional subsidiary teams to align local record-keeping with statutory legislation and corporate accounting policies.
- Operational Optimization & Special Initiatives: Pinpoint bottlenecks in reporting workflows to drive process enhancements, update policy documentation, and execute strategic finance assignments as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accreditation (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent designation) is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, with prior exposure to MNC operational environments or public accounting (Big 4 background preferred).
- Strong command of statutory tax principles, internal control structures (SOX knowledge is a bonus), and dual-framework accounting standards.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern enterprise platforms like SAP S/4HANA
