Overview
The Senior Manager, Corporate Systems will lead the transformation and centralization of enterprise corporate systems across the organisation. This role is responsible for driving the transition from a decentralized operating model to a centralized corporate platform structure, with an immediate focus on finance systems implementation and optimization.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience managing enterprise corporate platforms spanning Finance, HR, Risk, and Productivity tools, and possess the ability to operate effectively across complex stakeholder environments. The role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery capability across systems transformation, governance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Systems Transformation
- Lead the transition from decentralized business-owned systems into a centralized corporate systems operating model.
- Establish governance, standards, processes, and operating frameworks across enterprise platforms.
- Drive enterprise-wide system harmonization, simplification, and optimization initiatives.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to align technology capabilities with operational goals.
Finance Systems Leadership
- Lead short- to mid-term finance systems transformation and implementation initiatives.
- Manage delivery of finance platforms including ERP, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, expense management, and reporting systems.
- Partner closely with Finance stakeholders to improve financial processes, controls, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
- Support finance transformation initiatives including automation, workflow optimization, and integration improvements.
Enterprise Corporate Platforms
- Oversee and support corporate systems across:
- Finance platforms
- HR systems (e.g. HCM, payroll, talent systems)
- Risk and governance platforms
- Productivity and collaboration tools
- Enterprise workflow and reporting systems
- Ensure integration, scalability, stability, and data consistency across multiple platforms.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, Risk, Operations, and Technology.
- Drive organizational change management associated with system centralization and process redesign.
- Influence business users and leadership teams through periods of transformation and operational change.
- Serve as the key liaison between functional teams, technology teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
Delivery & Vendor Management
- Manage end-to-end implementation lifecycle including planning, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Oversee external vendors, consultants, and system integrators to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Establish delivery governance, project reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage budgets, resource planning, and prioritization across multiple initiatives.
Governance, Risk & Operations
- Ensure appropriate controls, access management, data governance, and compliance requirements are maintained across corporate systems.
- Drive operational excellence, platform stability, and service improvements.
- Develop support models, SLAs, and incident management processes for centralized platforms.
Requirements
Experience
- 10+ years of experience managing enterprise corporate systems and transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience transitioning organizations from decentralized systems ownership to centralized corporate platforms/governance models.
- Strong experience leading finance systems implementations or ERP transformation programs.
- Exposure to multiple corporate domains including Finance, HR, Risk, and Productivity platforms.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in complex organizational environments.
- Strong vendor and implementation partner management experience.
Technical & Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of finance systems and enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with ERP ecosystems, integrations, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Working knowledge of HRIS, governance/risk platforms, and productivity toolsets.
- Knowledge of data governance, controls, access management, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
