Senior .NET Full Stack Developer – Global Markets

Role Overview

As part of the ongoing development and support of the Collateral business within Global Markets, we are seeking a strong and experienced Software Developer to join the technology team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting a range of critical applications within the Global Markets Operations and Technology (GMOT) environment. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with both technology and business stakeholders across multiple global locations, including Singapore, London, Bromley, Camberley, India, New York, and Chicago.

You will work as part of a globally distributed development team, with support from existing team members to gain an understanding of the relevant business and functional aspects of the applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support critical business applications using C# and .NET technologies, including .NET 6.0 and .NET 8.0.
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs and web services using REST and SOAP technologies.
• Participate in API design, development, integration, and documentation.
• Develop front-end applications and components using Angular (v2+), JavaScript, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Build and maintain backend services using .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web API, and C#.
• Work with relational databases, including MS SQL Server and DB2.
• Utilise ORM technologies such as Entity Framework, NHibernate, and Dapper.
• Apply best practices in software design, dependency injection, testing, and application development.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, including Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Collaborate closely with business users, developers, architects, and technology teams across multiple international locations.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions.
• Contribute innovative ideas, new technologies, and improved ways of working to enhance the development process and application landscape.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in C# and .NET development, including:
  • .NET 6.0 / .NET 8.0
  • .NET Core
  • .NET Framework 4.7+
  • ASP.NET MVC 5
  • Web API 2
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • REST and SOAP Web Services
  • API design and documentation
  • Angular (v2+) and JavaScript
  • MS SQL Server and DB2
  • Entity Framework, NHibernate, or Dapper
  • Dependency Injection frameworks, such as Unity
  • CI/CD and automated deployment practices
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
