Software Engineer (Java)- Canto- Contract- Insurance- 40k

Job Responsibilities :

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Design and implement microservices , RESTful APIs, Message Queue, ETL to support application and system integration
• Produce and maintain technical design documents and specifications for application development and enhancements
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Apply industry best practices in coding, testing, security, and performance optimization
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, QA, and DevOps, in an agile environment
• Ensure delivered solutions meet quality, security, and compliance requirements
• Adapt quickly to changing requirements and thrive in a fast paced, evolving technology environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 3+ years of hands-on development experience
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for backend development (Top 1 of 3 must have compulsory technical skills)
• Hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development (Top 2 of 3 must have compulsory technical skills)
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub (Top 3 of 3 must have compulsory technical skills)
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying applications end-to-end
• Hands-on experience following an iterative and agile SDLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) or other ETL/data integration tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
