Solution Designer | CONTRACT | Insurance | 100-140M

We’re partnering with a leading international insurer to hire a Lead Solution Designer to drive the design and delivery of enterprise data solutions on AWS.

This is a senior, hands-on opportunity combining architecture, engineering and technical leadership across large-scale data platforms.

What you’ll do:

• Lead solution design and implementation using AWS services including S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue and Lambda.
• Design and optimise large-scale batch and streaming pipelines using PySpark.
• Shape data lakehouse, warehouse, master data management and analytics solutions.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical designs.
• Improve platform performance, resilience and cloud cost efficiency.
• Guide engineering teams and coordinate delivery with cross-country stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years’ experience across data engineering, solution design and enterprise data architecture.
• Deep, hands-on AWS data platform expertise.
• Strong PySpark skills and experience delivering production data pipelines.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, CI/CD and data integration patterns.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
• Insurance experience and relevant AWS certifications would be advantageous.
