Senior IT Manager, Service Delivery

Role Overview

  • Direct leadership of 3 managers (IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, IT Procurement)

  • Deliver high-availability, cost-effective IT service operations while modernizing legacy infrastructure to serve as an agile, automated, and data-ready platform for cloud adoption and AI workloads.

Key Accomplishments & Accountabilities

  • Service Operations & Governance: Define and govern enterprise-wide IT service standards, SLAs, and incident response protocols; enforce rigorous IT security baselines, access controls, and patch management across the estate.

  • Infrastructure Stability: Ensure high availability of core networks, endpoints, and business-critical applications, championing root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring operational bottlenecks.

  • Transformation Enablement: Translate strategic roadmaps into executable operational plans; assess infrastructure readiness, capacity, and security for cloud migrations (hybrid/cloud architectures), SaaS rollouts, and AI/data platforms.

  • Modernization & Automation: Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), containerization, and modern ITIL/DevOps practices to enable self-service provisioning, automated patching, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Financial & Vendor Management: Own full OPEX/CAPEX budgets for IT operations and infrastructure refresh; track spend variance, forecast renewal cycles, and lead high-value negotiations and governance for MSP, SaaS, cloud, and hardware vendors.

  • Strategic Alignment: Serve as the critical bridge between "run" and "transform" operations, providing risk assessments and resource plans to ensure digital initiatives receive highly responsive platforms.

Key Qualifications & Expertise

  • Experience: 10+ years in IT operations/infrastructure; 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams through complex digital change within large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Technical Breadth: Strong grasp of enterprise infrastructure, hybrid/public cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS), M365, service desk operations, and IT asset lifecycles; comfortable running legacy and modern platforms side-by-side.

  • Frameworks & Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering; deeply versed in ITIL (MP preferred), ISO 27001, DevOps, and agile service delivery models.

  • Competencies: Data-driven decision maker with strong stakeholder management, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
