Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for Equities & Derivatives trading applications (Stocks, ETFs, Warrants, Options, Futures) across APAC markets on Windows/Linux platforms
  • Support front office traders by troubleshooting and resolving functional and technical issues in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Monitor, track, and manage production incidents and user requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with local and offshore development teams to report bugs, implement fixes, and enhance system stability
  • Support business-driven and exchange-driven initiatives, including system enhancements and regulatory changes
  • Perform system deployment, upgrades, and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for mission-critical trading applications
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
  • Maintain accurate system and process documentation
  • Participate in shift rotations (morning/lunch), including weekend and holiday support when required
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement to enhance system resilience and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 1–2 years of experience in trading application support or similar role within financial services
  • Solid understanding of Equities and Derivatives products and market practices
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Python, Shell)
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and production support processes
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, and FIX
  • Proficiency in Excel/VBA for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support front office users
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with batch scheduling tools
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products
  • Exposure to automation and system optimization initiatives
